Covenant Baptist Church
Covenant Baptist Church is located at 5800 W Maple Road in West Bloomfield, Michigan. The church is approximately 38,000 sq. ft. and is under the leadership of Reverend Jabulani McCallister. Covenant Baptist Church requested Hawks & Associates to retrofit over 300 indoor linear and nonlinear fixtures and install over 20 motion sensors throughout the church and church school. Almost 30 exterior fixtures were replaced with Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and numerous outlets around the church's exterior. As a result of implementing this project, this church will save over $ 8,000 annually and over $10,000 in rebates from DTE Energy for up to three years.--Preliminary description of our scope of work.
New Mt. Hermon Church
New Mount Hermon Baptist Church is located at 3225 S Deacon St, In Detroit Ml. The church is approximately 10,000 sq. ft. with the leadership of Dr. Alex R. Hill. This church was constructed in the year 1961. Dr. Alex R. Hill wanted to develop a sustainable edifice for his parishioners.
After much prayer, Dr. Alex R. Hill and Deacon Wilson Moore selected Hawks & Associates Inc. to retrofit all lighting in order to drive operating costs down in the church. Inside the church Hawks & Associates retrofitted all of the interior fixtures and all standard switches were replaced with motion sensors. All exterior lighting was replaced with LED Lighting as well as each of the parking lot and building lighting equipped with a photocell. As a result of implementing this project, this church will save several thousand dollars annually and receive a DTE Energy rebate of over $3,000. This project was funded through a World Renew Energy Grant. --Preliminary description of our scope of work.
Around the Corner LLC, Partner of Hawks & Associates
A 15MW Solar Project was engineered and constructed in Valladolid Spain to power 3,000 homes for the local utility, Iberdrola. This solar farm was completed on time, under budget, and commissioned in late December 2019.
